MORE HOUSING FOR NEWENT AND THE FOREST?

Here is the Forest of Dean District Council's poster, advertising the drop-in events throughout the Forest, based mainly in the locations that are the focus of major proposed development

Although the draft Local Plan document is lengthy, summaries and maps will be available and the planners who developed the proposals will be on hand to explain the policies and answer questions. 

All plan-making is a lengthy process and policies and site allocations have to be  approved at government level.  We are not there yet, and there is time to ask for changes and modifications.

There will be various ways to respond to the proposals in the Local Plan.  These will be explained at the event or by getting in touch with the FoDDC by email, phone or online.
