Here's a screenshot of what the new portal looks like for reporting problems on the roads and pavements.

Gloucestershire HIghways Dept decided to stop using 'Report-it Gloucestershire' and transfer to the UK-wide FIXMYSTREET online reporting tool.

You can upload photographs and give the details of what needs fixing through the app or website. Just search for Fix My Street.

It's no surprise that the vast majority of problems reported are potholes but you can report blocked drains, fallen trees, defective street lighting. graffiti, fly-tipping, and broken paving slabs as well.

Fix My Street has the advantage that it can report to the relevant authority whether it is Gloucestershire County Council or the Forest of Dean District Council in our patch.

In an emergency, just phone 0800 514 514 for Gloucestershire Highways problems.
