Sarah grew up in neighbouring Monmouthshire, where she was a community councillor before moving to the beautiful Forest of Dean with her husband, daughter and dog in 2022. As a family, they appreciate all the Forest has to offer. Her background is in education, having trained as a primary school teacher before specialising in learning support and completing a masters in Special Educational Needs. She is a lecturer in education and childhood studies.
Sarah is committed to sustainability, equality and inclusion, and would like to see the County's youth services revived
